I'm thinking of buying 2011-2014 model diesel cars costing less than 5 lakhs from Delhi and selling them in Bangalore. How much tax will I have to pay and how do I calculate it?

Road Tax in Bangalore for a car that costs around INR 4 lakhs having purchase date in 2013 January 1 is around INR 41,558.

You can check this road tax calculator to calculate the road tax in Bangalore.

You might not have to pay any road tax in Delhi as the original owner might have paid road tax for 15 years at the time of buying the vehicle.
