I opened my fast tag account with SBI with Rs.500. Then i haven't used it. Even though bank sends me SMS to pay rs.2000. Is it necessary to deposit the money ?

There is no necessity to deposit an amount when you don't need it & having enough balance in your wallet. you should maintain a minimum balance of rs. 150/- in your wallet in order to keep using it and avoid blacklisting of tag.
