I just had a deal with a Used Car Dealer to sell my car. But like everyone, I am concerned about the RC Transfer, since the Dealer says he doesn't want the car ownership to be changed to his name because the car is having only one owner (Me) right now. So he can sell it to someone as a single owner car. Is there any legal way to deal with it without transferring the RC for a particular period of time? Like Authorising him to sell my car for a period of time.

This is the usual practice of the exchange dealers. It is the responsibility of the owner to make sure the transfer of ownership is done as soon as the old car is bought by anybody. Most of the dealers do, but some fail to do that.
