I have voted several times but recently when I checked the Voter list, my name was not there. Who did this & why? And what should I do now?

Time to time field verification of voters list is carried out and if any person is not found residing during verification his /her name is deleted suo moto. Names are also deleted from the voter list on account of filing of objection in Form 7 after due process. In case your name has wrongly been deleted, while you are still residing at the given address, you may contact concerned ERO/AERO for re-enrollment or apply afresh.

       You may submit a representation to ERO for hearing in the matter and if still not satisfied with the reply/action of the ERO on your representation, you may then file an appeal as per provisions of Act & Rules.
