In my opinion, the following documents shall be required:

  • Ownership documents,
  • Death Certificate of the person whose name is mentioned in the ownership document, 
  • Notarized Consent Letter of other heirs (your siblings) as the property shall be in joint holding, except in case of clear allocation in will.
  • Latest electricity bill/property tax receipt.

As you are the legal heir of your parents' property, the above documents shall be enough to prove your co-ownership after them.

I would recommend you to apply for transfer of ownership, as it will be helpful to you in future.
