Home |Maharashtra RTO | I have purchased my Car in the year 2015 from Pune and in 2019 I have shifted to Bangalore. I have paid life time tax in Bangalore but not claimed Pune Road tax. Now in Oct 2021 we are shifting back to Pune. Whether we have to pay road tax again in Pune for the same vehicle? Once new registration done in Pune I will claim for Road tax refund from Bangalore.

The procedure is to get apply for refund of tax as soon as you registered the vehicle at Banglore. You can not adjust the first time tax to this vehicle if you take this vehicle back to Pune and re-register.
