I have purchased fastag through airtel wallet but now they have deactivated my fasttag because they want us to opt for airtel payments bank for which they want us to destroy our fasttag and return. What to do?

Airtel says:-

As per guidelines, accounts which are onboarded as Full KYC wallets via Aadhaar OTP based verification have a validity of 1 year only.

Such customers can update their accounts into savings accounts by visiting nearby banking outlets and providing biometric consent.

Multiple reminders are sent to the customers to upgrade their account.

In case, the customer fails to do so, we have to close their account for compliance to guidelines.

Not a satisfactory explanation ,when a company knows that my wallet will be expiring than why FASTtag was issued in first place through wallet and after taking processing money and taxes and other charges they have deactivated my fasttag and blocked my wallet and refunding only Rs.150/- out of 450/- which we paid for activating fasttag to airtel .And that 150/- is not even refunded after 2 months .Very irresponsible and  immature way of handling the situation by Airtel’s payment bank .They are cheating customers by giving them excuse of certain protocols to hide their shortcomings .
