Home |Maharashtra RTO | I have purchased a bike in Pune in 2008 and moved to Hyderabad in 2020 with proper NOC. I even paid road tax in Hyderabad, but not re-registered the vehicle as there was no proper address proof with me. Later, when I tried to register, they said it can't be registered as NOC got expired. Now, wanted to scrap the vehicle as I am not using it anymore. How can I do it legally for a Maharashtra registered vehicle in Hyderabad?

As per the Government Rules if Hyderabad Rto accepted the road tax and not registering the vehicle it's wrong because at the time of road tax why they have not cleared this things in advance, Right now after arrangment of address proof they are not accepting the Noc, after payment of road tax they have to register it in Hyderabad.Right now if you want to scrap it then you can proceed by legal procedures but it's too lengthy and hectic like this, need to cancel Noc in Mumbai after that you can apply for scrap process, at that time all papers they want to be valid like insurance, puc etc. And also need to do inspection process for scrap in concern Rto office then you can scrap it .
