RD number is Sakala 15 Digit acknowledgement number generated while raising service request for sakala notified services. This number assists you track status of your application and raise appeal in case of delay in service delivery. The number is printed in your acknowledgement receipt  as well as texted as an acknowledgement message to your registered mobile number.
