I have applied for intercaste marriage in karnataka, it's showing instalment paid but the officer gave me the application form of the Canara bank to open an FD with the documents. Is this the procedure?

  During my marriage, my husband and his family had me sign power of attorney documents twice. Also, they asked me to sign deeds. He told me it was a gift.
