This happened because at the time of enrollment you have not submitted your BPL ration card. As you don't have a ration card, you will be considered as “General Patient” and will get benefits as entitled to a General Patient under the scheme.

I am not sure whether the details in Arogya Karnataka Card can be updated or not. However, you can reach out to the hospital which has enrolled you for the Arogya Karnataka card on whether the details can be updated now or not.
