I bought a motorcycle from Haryana state, as requested by me the owner of the vehicle got NOC from his RTO and I received the vehicle in Kochi and all original documents with it. When I approached Kakkanad RTO for re-registration and name change, the inspector refused to say that both the engine number and chassis number are hand punched ( but matching with RC book ). I am unable to use this motorcycle now. Is there any solution to register my motorcycle in my RTO?

If you are also convinced that the engine number and chassis number of the vehicle is tampered, you have no option.

Answered on July 03,2021I have pulsar 200 ns bike registered in Pune, Maharashtra, I took an NoC to Gurgaon, as I got transferred but didn't register it there as I went abroad within a month. Due to covid-19 I came back to Kerala with all my belongings including the bike. Now I need to register it in Kerala. what to do?
Unfortunately, the process is bit complicated. You need to approach Gurgaon registering authority first to clear this.
