Documents Required

  • Current driving license.
  • Address proof.
  • Fee of INR 200

Procedure

  • Visit the nearest RTO.
  • Ask for a license upgrade form or Smart Card Driving License form.
  • Fill the form and attach relevant documents.
  • Submit biometric information.
  • Payment of applicable fees.
  • Collect the receipt and use it until the arrival of the Smart Card DL
  • Arrival of Smart Card DL on the registered address.
