How to pay BBMP property tax in BBMP office?

We can pay the BBMP property tax online or offline (through challan)

To pay through challan, you should either have 10 digit application number (PID) or previous property tax receipt.

Below is the step by step procedure to pay BBMP property tax through challan

Step 1: Walk into your BBMP ward office. Share your 10-digit application number or previous tax-paid receipt to official to generate challan.

Step 2: BBMP official generates a challan. A challan looks like the below image,

Challan has 3 copy: for bank, for BBMP, and user

As per the below image, the validity of challan is up to 31st July 2021, the validity date has been encircled in below image. Therefore we have to clear this challan payment within 31st July 2021.

Step 3: The challan amount shall be paid in any of the authorized Axis Bank, Canara Bank, HDF Bank, ICICI Bank within BBMP limit only (within Bangalore)

Payment can be made either through cheque or DD in the name of “Commissioner, Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike” or cash payment.

Step 4: We made the payment by cash in Axis bank. The below challan with bank acknowledgment seal for your reference.

Step 5: Show the bank acknowledgment receipt (ref above image) to BBMP official. An official will take a printout of property tax receipt and handover to you.

This completes the procedure of paying BBMP property tax through challan.
