How to get FASTag for Free?

You can visit the nearest toll plaza or RTO office to get free FASTags.
Rs 150 deposit for buying a FASTag has also been waived off by the Govt. However, once the FASTag has been purchased, the user will need to link their bank account to top up it, and to pay tolls electronically.
This free offer for FASTags has been started from November 22nd, and will end at December 1st.
While the FASTags have been made available free of cost, the owner needs to link it to his bank account to pay the toll amount.

Contact the previous owner to get the tag surrendered before purchasing a used vehicle otherwise it will always create an issue.
