There is no record of people born before 1965 in the Civic Birth and Death registration office at Pune. You can follow the below procedure to get birth certificate if you are born before 1965 in Pune.

  • You have to visit Civic Birth and Death registration office at Pune.
  • Get Non-Availability Certificate from the Registrars office. The Non-Availability Certificate is an acknowledgment or endorsement from the authorities stating that the certificate is not available with them. Applicants have to fill a form and submit it to the Registrar, who will then verify the data and issue the acknowledgment.
  • As per the law, if there is no record of an individual’s birth, his/her family members will have to establish the birth in the court of law. So get a Court order confirming that you are born on this particular day at this place.
  • Submit the court order at the registrar's office and get the birth certificate issued.
