How to get Approval of layout for shops and Godowns from the Agricultural Marketing Department in Karnataka?

Name of the Department:  Agricultural Marketing Department.

Name of the Service: Approval of layout for shops and Godowns.

Whom to approach for this service (Designated Officer)?: Secretary, APMC.

Procedure involved to get this service: The licenced person or institution may submit an application to the secretary of the concerned market committee for approval of layout plan of shop, godown and site. The Secretary of the market committee to forward this application along with a document for technical scoortaning of the Assistant Executive Engineer, Marketing Development Project, Department of Agricultural Marketing Department. Technically scoortanise application along with documents will be submitted back to the market committee by the above Assistant Executive Engineer. The Secretary of the Market committee communicates the approval of the layout plan after decision by the market committee.

Who are eligible to get this service: The licenced person or institution.

Documents to be enclosed with the request:

1 . The person or institution has to submit an application to the Secretary of the concerned market committee.

2 . The order of allotment of site by the market committee to be enclosed .

3 . The licence copy issued by the market committee to deal in notified agricultural produce to be enclosed.

4 . Layout plan of shop and godown building to be enclosed ( as applicable).

Whom to approach as an appeal (Competent Officer), if the service is not delivered in time or rejected by officer: Agricultural produce market committee.

Whom to approach as 2nd appeal (Appellate Authority), if the decision of the Competent officer is not acceptable or not implemented?: Director, Agricultural Marketing Department.
