How to apply for Voter ID?

You can register for Voter ID from the NVSP portal.If you have not registered in the NVSP portal, register in the NVSP portal first. Follow the below steps to register in the NVSP portal.

  • Visit NVSP portal.

  • Click on Login/Register to register in the NVSP portal.

  • Click on "Don't have account. Register as a New User".

  • Register with your mobile number. Click on "I dont have EPIC number".

Once you have registered, follow the below steps to apply online for the Voter ID card.

  • Login to NVSP portal

  • Select "Fresh Inclusion/Enrollment".

  • Enter your citizenship details.

  • Now you need to fill the following details.

  • Enter the details about Address, Date of Birth, Assembly Constituency.

  • Upload your photograph, documents for proof of age and proof of address.

  • Provide the declaration.

  • Once you have entered all the details, click on "Submit" button.

  • Now you will receive an email with a link that lets you track your voter ID application status. It may take around 30 days for your application to be processed and for a voter ID to be issued.
