While renewing Income Certificate, Ration card can be used as an Address proof and sometimes as an Income proof as well.

You can use the following documents as Address proof in place of Ration card.

  • Election Card
  • Passport
  • First Page of Bank Pass Book/Cancelled Cheque
  • Post Office Account Statement/Passbook
  • Driving License
  • Government Photo ID cards/ service photo identity card issued by PSU
  • Electricity Bill/Telephone Bill/Water bill (not older than 3 months)

You can use the following documents as Income proof in place of Ration card.

  • Salary slip
  • Bank statement
