How do I cross verify the NRI's Registered POA?

Cross verify the certificate number in the District Registrar's office (DRO)

Below is the image of NRI’s registered Power of Attorney (POA). (This POA has 4 pages; I just posted only 1st and adjudicated pages.

We adjudicated this POA in District Registrar Office (DRO) in Shivajinagar, Bangalore. The adjudication consists of DRO seal, sign and certificate number. 

We encircled the certificate number in the above image, the certificate number looks like SJN/Cert.10-A/12XX/2021-2022. The certificate number is unique for every registered POA and the certificate number is stored in the DRO registry.

To cross verify NRI’s registered POA, quote the certificate number in the respective DRO where the POA was registered.  DRO extract details of Executant, Attorney and property address. 

To extract the details, we should file the application in the DRO office with a letter addressing to DRO, stating the reason to extract the certificate number.
