There is no provisions to claim a refund of excess tax payment made under this scheme. However, the Central Government shall notify the class of persons to whom the excess amount paid towards the tax, surcharge, and penalty shall be refunded. [Inserted by the Finance (No. 2) Act, 2019 w.e.f., 01-06-2016].
