According to eligibility criteria of HK region, my son is eligible to get the HK certificate although my son is studied in Non HK region since my wife is from HK region. What are the documents required for my son to get HK region certificate ?

Your son is eligible for the reservation because his mother is a resident of HK region and satisfy the below criteria.

If he is born in local area, or either of his parents was born in that region before 1.1.2013, or either of his parents ordinarily lived in the local area for more than ten years prior to 1.1.2013 and had their name either in the electoral list or ration card; or owned any immovable property on or before 1.1.2013 in the local area; or

So, if his mother has address of the HK region in any of the following documents, then he is eligible to get HK Region certificate.

  • Voter ID card
  • Ration Card
  • Date : 01.01.2013 In the early records of fixed assets
  • Residence Certificate
