ജനന സർട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റ് അതാവശ്യമല്ലാത്ത കാലഘട്ടത്തിൽ മാതാപിതാക്കളുടെ ശ്രദ്ധക്കുറവുകൊണ്ട് തെറ്റായി രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയ ജനനതീയതി പാസ്പോർട്ട്‌, SSLC ബുക്ക്‌ എന്നിവയിൽ ഒരേപോലെ വരുകയും എന്നാൽ വൈകി വാങ്ങിയ ജനന സർട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റിൽ വ്യത്യസ്തമായി വരുകയും ചെയ്താൽ ഗുണഭോക്താവിന് ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടായിരിക്കും.

Rule 11(2) of the Kerala Registration of Births and Deaths Rules, 1999 പ്രകാരം ജനന മരണ രജിസ്റ്ററിൽ ഉണ്ടാക്കെയാക്കാവുന്ന തിരുത്തലുകളും, ഒഴിവാക്കലുകളും രജിസ്ട്രാർക്ക് സെക്ഷൻ 15 പ്രകാരം ജനനത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു വ്യക്തമായി അറിവുള്ള രണ്ടു വ്യക്തികളുടെ സത്യവാങ്മൂലത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിലും, രജിസ്ട്രാറുടെ അന്വേഷണത്തിൽ ശരിയാണെന്നു ബോധ്യപ്പെട്ടാൽ തിരുത്തി നൽകാവുന്നതാണ്.

മേൽപ്രസ്താവിച്ച രീതിയിലുള്ള നടപടി ക്രമങ്ങളിലൂടെ ജനന സർട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റിൽ കടന്നുകൂടിയിട്ടുള്ള പിശകുകൾ തിരുത്താവുന്നതാണ്.
